A setback and a step back for Maroney

I don't get it. Maroney played a decent game, except for the fumble in the end zone. Brady played a decent game, except for the int in the endzone. Now, if you don't like Maroney for his whole body of work, fine, but if you're taking something against Maroney from the Colts game, you're just seeing what you wanted to see.

Isn't that what PatsFans is all about?

Blown out of proportion, IMO. It's essentially talking about just that one fumble. Granted it couldn't have happened at a worst time, but it's still 2 fumbles in over 400 carries.

i wish they had given him the ball after the fumble on the last series.instead they just went with faulk.

People can say what they like about Maroney and his perceived dancing, but to criticize him unfairly for the fumble irks me. He's proven he can secure the ball and he is human which means he isn't infallible.

If Brady has a downer against the Jets and Maroney plays a blinder, the news headlines will read in his favour and breed the "we knew he had it in him mentality".

It's interesting to read the changes in opinion week to week versus the season to date mentality.

It would be nice to have a healthy Maroney all season long. His potential is endless. He can break one at any given moment. In this system he's not considered as a Featured Back as for his fumble Vs Colts yes it was untimely ( when are fumbles good anytime) I wouldn't read into it too much. Keep running him in all situations.
