But you are right about the influx. It's a plot by Massachusetts to annex territory from NH by making southern NH full of you-know-whats.

Bunch of guys from Waltham, etc: "Hey, the taxes in Derry NH are low. Let's move up there."

They do.

A couple years later, the same guys now living in Derry (or similar So NH town): "Hey, what's with this deal about bringing our garbage to the landfill? We need curb pickup. And the library is too small. We need a new one. And the middle school should have a new gym. And there's no town tennis courts or anything in town. Let's buy some land and make a tennis center. And we need...."

A decade later: NH: "Southern NH sucks. It's just like Massachusetts. Just give the damn place to them and be rid of it."
