OK OK...this happened a few weeks ago...and an acquaintance told me about this earlier today... Itw as just a fleeting moment..BUT it was mentioned..
My friend said this was the day after the draft..that Monday on ESPN Boston..with WInters, Valley and Lobell and they were talking about the ESPN coverage and Lobell was saying how they did a GREAT job was beating up ESPN etc etc. And seemed to be gushing all over what ESPN is... He sort of wondered how any fan could NOT like what ESPN was and how it was the best..yadda yadda yadda..NO insight at all..and I guess Valley said..something about reading the messageboard on Patsfans or something..and that there was a lot to say there. It was a quick mention but..interesting. My friend said he thought Lobell was a jerk and the way he was talking about ESPN was that they never do anything wrong...AT least a passing mention...although not on EEI....BUT still a mention.
