On the plus side we have 8 days to prepare for the AFC Championship game.

knock wood

Well they don't get paid for the bye week.
So the top seed should at least have the most advantageous slot.

I hope the media re-hash Tomlins a55hole comments from last year...
or at least, BB dropping little reminders, should the opportunity arise.

Called it in the other thread! Ratings. 4 out of the last 5 years we got this time slot

A-hole, huh? So says Captain Tripgate*!

Tomlin is ALWAYS a crybaby with anything related to Pats. In opener in 2015 after they got beat he was basically crying after the game to the Steelers owner about the headsets.

Glad the Pats got the Saturday game!

I love Saturday night home playoff games. Party time wth recovery on Sunday for everyone going to Gillette and those watching at home. Some snow would be fun this year, especially if they get the Titans.

haha the Steelers beat writer serves as a fan writer and mouthpiece for that team

Then if he is a mouthpiece he is spouting what the team believes. Which is even worse than saying that kind of thing on your own.

Just check out this article about the steelers mouthpiece wrote after the Pats game:

Hurley: Pittsburgh Columnist Insinuates Patriots Receive Favorable Treatment From NFL, Is Wrong

“Contrary to popular belief throughout New England, the Patriots do have influence in the offices of the NFL,” Bouchette wrote. “His name is Alberto Riveron, and he is the NFL’s senior vice president of officiating.”

Bouchette states that he is not accusing Riveron of favoritism, yet presents three replay rulings this year that went the Patriots’ way.

It’s an incendiary column geared at placating Steelers fans who remain upset at the fact that Jesse James didn’t make an easy catch on Sunday night, and it calls back Austin Seferian-Jenkins’ fumble at the pylon that led to a Jets turnover in a surprisingly close contest against the Patriots earlier this season. It also referenced Brandin Cooks’ borderline drop of the game-winning touchdown against the Texans in Week 3.

We could take them all one by one, or we could just say this: all three calls were made in line with the rules of the National Football League. Period. Full stop.

haha the Steelers beat writer serves as a fan writer and mouthpiece for that team
And he's a Lynn, Massachusetts native. Dink...
