Not the kind of instant resolution that one might hope for, but on the other hand, it could be worse. At least we know that at some point in the future the Pats may get some cap relief

Bottom line - Looks like there isn't any instant or simple solution to this issue, nor can we expect any resolution that will affect the team's cap situation in time to make any impact on this year's cap situation. At least we know that it, for this year, at least, it won't get worse.
