I don't follow college football that much, but the last few years I have not missed the Iron Bowl. Throw the rankings out the window - they mean nothing for this one game.

If Alabama was named anything but “Alabama” then they would’ve already been outside the top-8 before yesterday and outside the top-15 today.

They don’t have a single victory over a currently-ranked team. Arguably their best win was over A&M. And they are starting to establish a pattern of regularly giving up 40+ when facing real competition.
