Shame Wentz got hurt. Could of been a great super bowl with some genuine storylines....emerging good/great young QB vs the 40 year old GOAT etc... Now it will be Nick Foles or Case Keenum....assuming we hold court next Sunday.

The Eagles story this year reminds me somewhat of the 1990 Giants. Good defense, starting QB gets knocked out with a few games left in the season and the backup has to take them into the playoffs where he knocks off the Super Bowl participant from the year before.

Last year it was about QBs. The better QB won nearly every playoff game last year.

This year it has been the better D winning nearly every playoff game.

That trend will hopefully not continue as a good argument can be made the Patriots have the worst D left.

Better defenses? LOL. Where? Our D is an embarrassment when actually challenged by a real offense, and are capable of making mediocre QBs look like stars. The endangered birds are mediocre. The so-called best defenses in the league just allowed Brees to put up 24, and allowed him the lead before... (NO's defense jobbed out to MN, looking at the officiating in that game, I should've expected it), and don't get me started on the 42 that rapist put on up on those overrated kitties in Jacksonville. Where are these scary defenses at?

It looks like it is the year of the dynasty, the beginning and possibly the end, if both Belichick and Brady retire after they win. Hopefully we get Garappolo back if that happens. The only way we don't win 6 is if refs screws us out of the game. Given the lackluster teams available I don't see the 32 screwing up their potential to maximize profits, at this point, to push an uninteresting Jacksonville vs Minnesota/Philly SB onto the masses, unless they're using the match-up, as well as injuries, as a scapegoat for crashing viewership this season.
