He transferred from somewhere called TXRG(?) where he had 68 receptions for 890 yards and 11 TDs in his, presumably, freshman year.

His movement skills, body control and quickness are very very intriguing. One for the future to keep an eye on.



Edit. OK, TXRG is Texas-Rio Grande Valley.

Edit 2: Watch the quick cut he makes on the second play. It was a "holy hell" moment for me.

As you remember, I was really high on Makai Lemon las year. I started to sour on him when Leonard Moore shut him down in the ND matchup. Miami play Moore and ND this year so that will be a big test for Toney.

I'm trying to decide which games to watch today before the big game later.

I think I'll watch Georgia in the middle slate - I want to get a first look at those defenders.

First slate is between Indiana v North Texas and Ohio State v Ball State. I think I'll probably go with Ohio State.

Malachi Toney's effort in the run game is special.
