2027 Watch List

I'm stuck between a Jalon Walker comp for Cole and a Jihaad Campbell comp. I think campbell is the better one because of Cole's coverage ability. A Jalon Walker that can cover works too.

Cole is not a pure MIKE. He could be a good one, but that would probably not be his best fit.

Pair him with a hood MIKE, and you have an elite LB duo.
Cole & Coney ftw.

It's nice that we can take next season off. Cole, Coney, Demello Jones & Jelani Mcdonald. Send it in to the front office, we've done their job for them by early June.

Those are my 4 picks, too. Not sure about the order, but not letting the details bog me down.

Sign Ikem Ekwonu in FA, get that draft, and have the NFL mail the Lombardi directly to 1 Patriot Place.

It'll be interesting to see where we are come next March and April.

Coney and Cole would be a 4-2-5 version of Hightower and Collins - lighter and more mobile.

McDonald would be our McCourty.

Demello Jones would be a smaller but far more athletic Brandon Browner, next to Christian Gonzalez as Darrelle Revis.

Is Faletau Satuala of BYU this year's VJ Payne? 6'4", 215lbs with 33.5" arms.

Satuala also has only 9 career missed tackles. That's 91st percentile according to the video.

Some questions about his hips and range and they estimate his speed at 4.60 but he has potential as a hybrid safety.

"he's a great tackler"

My take on the safeties as of right now:

- Joe Deleone is right: KJ Bolden, Tae Johnson and Jelani McDonald are the top 3
- Koi Perich and Ty Benefield have a lot of potential, but a ling way to go. Anyone mocking them or rating them as 1st round right now is doing so purely on projection
- Zach Lutmer and Dashawn Spears are very intriguing
- Tao Johnson and Amare Ferrell are flying under the radar
- Bray Hubbard and Keon Sabb are talented, but less in the rangy FS mold

Georgia's schedule is an interesting watch next year. An easy schedule through weeks 1-3, but then it's SEC goodness all the way until Georgia Tech in week 14.

Wk 1 - Tennessee State
Wk 2 - Western Kentucky
Wk 3 - Arkansas
Wk 4 - Oklahoma
Wk 5 - Vandy
Wk 6 - Alabama
Wk 7 - Auburn
Wk 8 - Florida
Wk 9 - Ole Miss
Wk 10 - Missouri
Wk 11 - S Carolina
Wk 12 - Georgia Tech.

Look at those feet, and how active he is.

If we have to address OL in the draft, give me Jacarrius Peak or PJ Williams. Best 2 in terms of footwork, athleticism, power, and inside/outside versatility. I have them above Siereveld/Smith/Green.

Here's Carter Smith, for comparison:

Much heavier feet. Same with Siereveld and Green.
