DRAFT DAY DISCUSSION 2026 NFL Draft Day 3

Just noticed that Isaiah World hasnt been drafted. Early on he was mocked by some as a 2nd rounder.

3 picks left.
WR
TE
NT

Nt a need, the other 2 because there seems to be some good players still there.

All the best ILB’er were off the board, he is a lot like the CB where he’s the best of the rest. Good but not great at every measurable, if he’s smart he’ll become a contributor.

At this point you start to ask what is the issue with guys?

Burks (WR) drop kind of makes sense. He isn't big. Didn't do agility drills for some reason. His straight line speed is great but being under 5'10 even by a hair hurts him. Personally I would still take a shot on a 4.3 guy. But it does make you wonder... if he runs a 4.3 why such a low YPC? Why didn't he burn guys more?

Would be up for Corleone, Eason, Guillory, etc. Whatever wide ass looks worth a shot.

I always have, going back to well before we picked him. I think he's a pro bowler or better there, but only adequate at LT. We can win with him, but Lomu is more balanced on the edge, while Campbell is a potential all pro in smaller spaces when recovered from injury.

There is a shortage of OT's and especially LT's in the league. As the Chargers found out last season, a couple of injuries can ruin your season. I think Lomu might have more long term potential at LT but he's only 21 yrs old. WC will be our LT this year and moving forward until he gets beat out. But if he gets injured, we now have a guy we can plug in that won't tank our season.

Crownover provides the same depth at RT and OG. Long term, he replaces Moses at RT and WC may very well become our LG. We've completely revamped our Oline in 2 years. This unit is finally poised to become a strength of the team.

In the 7th now

I'm predicting the Jets make a move and trade a 2027 pick for the ability to pick Mr. Irrelevant at 257

Now Payne being on the board is insane to me. If you are looking for traits he has them, to match decent production. Unless he is a headcase (and IDK if that was reported) I don't see why he would get out of round 6 where you run to the podium to lock down trait guys.

Not going to lie, day 3 has been a real let down once those 4th rounders were lost.

It's at times like these where we need to think of how we felt after beating Denver in Denver at the AFC Championship Game a mere four months ago, after going 4-13 the season before.

All is well with the world.
