2026 Draft: WR

Cool, but he is a different guy than Brown. Just because 1 person does something does not mean that another can do it.
Brown is a perennial over a 1000 yds receiver; he was close to hitting 1500yds twice. It seems like you Patsfans don't understand why Brown is Disgruntled in Philly?? Philly have built their Offense around S Barkley and I don't blame em. Brown does not want to be in a Offense that's built around a RB. The Problem is Barkley is a Super RB; Brown is like this situation is not for me. So to all the he's lost a step or close to the WR Cliff; I think you all are dead RONG! Brown is and will be a better #1 WR than S Diggs here.

Davante Adams had over 1500yds Receiving at age 29 Fact!
It's easy to get 1500 yards when you're targeted 169 times and the next closest receiver only get's 60 targets. In fact, the 2,3, and 4 Wide receivers on the Packers only had 159 targets. COMBINED.

It was no different when he went to the Raiders. Adams had 180 targets. The remaining 4 WRs had 170 targets combined.

What did those two teams accomplish? NADA. ZILCH. Not even a play-off win.

It's plainly obvious to everyone but you that this is a Team Sport. That Brown's antics reflect on the kind of TEAMMATE he is. A BAD ONE. If he's not the center of attention, he's whining. What makes you think that Vrabel would put up with that s**t?

Brown averaged 8.9 targets per game in his 1st two years in Philly. In his next 2 years, which were plagued by injuries, he saw 7.8 targets per game. WOW. A whole whopping 1.1 fewer targets. Do you understand how absolutely PATHTIC it is to whine over that?

Since you've missed it, the Pats have been building their team around the RBs. They've specifically added a good blocking TE and one of the best FBs in the NFL so they can be a smash-mouth football team. So, if Brown is *****ing like a $3 Ho about the loss of 1.1 targets per game, what do you think will happen here? Where the COACH has stated they want to be a RUN-CENTRIC team?

I am glad you brought up the targets, if Brown comes here and gets upwards of that many targets I will be so pissed because that means the offense changed entirely. Diggs has 102 targets and Brown had 121 just for comparison, I know they play different roles and Brown is probably better at this point but I found the target comparison interesting.

That's a direct result of snaps.
Diggs was managed and played far fewer snaps than an average #1.
Diggs had 598 snaps, 55% of the teams offensive snaps. 103 targets which means he was targeted 17% of the snaps he played.
AJ had 121 targets on 843 snaps. So he was targeted on 14% of the snaps he played.
AJ was targeted less when he was on the field than Diggs.
AJ being on the field more doesn't mean we have to change our offense.
Diggs was managed all year coming off injury, that is the only reason his snap count was so low, not because our O was built that way.

I get that, but I assume that Brown plays more snaps than Diggs because not coming off knee surgery and I was referencing
Adams getting 169 targets at age 29 from another post, but you're right with the math.

I think a better way of looking at it is target share and I think that Browns was 30% and Diggs was 22%. You're right though it probably wouldn't change the offense much (not sarcasm).

I think we can all agree that Drake is far superior passer than Hurts.
If AJ came here and had 30% target share with Drake throwing the ball, he very easily could be a 1500 yard WR.
PF2 would literally explode, like die and go to heaven!
