2026 Draft: WR

Athletic player comp time

Stefon Diggs

Antonio Williams

5'11.5", 187lbs, 30.75" arms, 9.25" hands

Stefon Diggs

Forty - 4.46
10 yd - 1.53
VJ - 35"
BJ - 9'7"
3C - 7.03

Antonio Williams

Forty - 4.41
10 yd - 1.55
VJ - 39.5"
BJ - 10'4"
3C - 7.00

Williams is my current Diggs replacement favourite, assuming we don't pick a WR in the first. They're very similar in body type, athletically and playing style.

What round grade do you have on Williams?

I'd take him at the end of the second round. PFF have him graded at the end of the 3rd but I think he's better than that.

I can’t remember what DJ said about him during the combine coverage on NFLN, but I think it was “he’s a real hard cover”.

It will be really interesting to see what happens next week, can’t imagine we don’t add a WR via FA/trade. Still want a guy in the draft, but I imagine the priority will go from “urgent” today, to something less.

Nice comp Antonio Williams looks like he can play all over the Field. Antonio Williams/Kyle Williams what's the difference??

I'd be up for Williams in the 2nd if OT or EDGE is mostly solved prior to the Draft.

If the value is there.
I agree OT and Edge are areas of need, but if there’s a run on those positions and Williams is rated much higher than guys available at those positions we can’t reach too far.
Teams that reach for need usually don’t have good results.

Assuming we sign Pierce or trade for Brown, the question of Antonio Williams will come down to whether the team is happy with K williams/Hollins/Chism/Douglas in the slot. My guess is Kyle Williams will be given more opportunities there and that they won't draft a Diggs replacement, at least on day one or two. We'll also see more multi-TE usage. McDaniels wants to be a run to pass team I think.

He’ll need his TE’s for that.

Eli Heidenreich v Lan Larison. who ya' got?

There might be a bit too much crossover to carry both on the roster, particularly if you want a physical power RB too.

It’s a good point. i think Larison is more RB and ELi more WR but unless they can become core special teamers, I agree that it might be too much of the same.

I agree with this but there is just enough crossover there. I assume they'd want a power RB too so Eli makes more sense but damnit - adding Eli would put two of my binkies (Chism & Larison) at risk and I find that hard to stomach. That doesn't mean I don't think Eli would be an excellent addition.

He was my first thought when I saw that 3-cone.

Both.

Hard to do if you want an additional power back too.
