2026 Draft: Interior OL

I would first look at David Edwards from Buffalo. If that’s a no…and I’m probably in the large minority here…but I’d look at a guy like Bitonio (retirement pending) for a year and draft a high upside guy that might need a little technique work like Bisontis from A&M in the 3rd/4th. Just a thought.

I understand Bitonio is old, but he hasn’t missed much time for injury. Just not sure I want to throw another rookie in between Campbell and Wilson (move to C assumed). Think a vet would be a big help there.

That is a great point about not wanting 3 young players at C-LG-LT, even if we sign someone in FA to play LG we still should draft someone depending on the age of the FA.

If we don't play 3 young players next to each other we might make the Super Bowl.

Listening to James Foster, he says both Beau Stephens and Logan Jones have 2nd percentile arm length which doesn't sound good.

Checking Foster's website, Jones has under 31" arms, Stephens has 31.5" arms.

They are both Day 3 guys.

My preferred options for LG a month ago were Austin Siereveld, Carter Smith, or Cayden Green. That worked out well.

So unless the Pats snag one of Vega Ioane, Emmanuel Pregnon, or Chase Bisontis, I am probably sticking with Jared Wilson at LG and Garrett Bradbury at OC for 2026.

Mike Onwenu has played much better down the stretch, and the Pats could keep him for 2026, and possibly restructure his deal. But if they do move on, Keagan Trost or Fa'alili Fa'amoe are good potential day 3 RG converts.

A right side of Trost or Fa'amoe at RG with Monroe Freeling or Max Iheanachor at RT would be very powerful.

More Jager

On one watch through I would say

+Very good anchor. The best part of that tape
+ Good awareness. Keeps head on a swivel looking for someone to block
+ Decent ability to move somebody although nothing special

- Gets out over his toes too often when drive blocking
- Average athleticism.
