Peppers is actually a good fit for this style of play.

If you amp the defenders up enough you will end up with some dumb penalties though. Comes with the territory I guess.

It makes sense given the recent departures on defense. Many of these guys were hanging on for dear life in Bill’s scheme and won’t be a good fit for many others. I like how Vrabel has his own philosophy in mind.

We talked about this in other threads, but it sounds like this will be the closest thing to the aggressive Carroll/Sidwell defenses which were underrated.

No. He did say a LOT about toughness and physicality, though -- while eating donuts and being fat and soft himself. What was Bob thinking?
