2025 / 2026 College watch thread

And who beat them.
I don't have a problem with Miami getting in over Notre Dame, but any fair minded individual has to be displeased (to say the least) with the process.

ND was ahead of Miami for 5 weeks in the PC but then, after a week when neither team even played, they switched places. There isn't a single fanbase in college football who would say "ok that's cool" if they got left out of the playoffs after switching places with another team on a weekend when neither played.

No Heisman for Jacob Rodriguez. I thought it was a stretch but if any defensive player deserved it...

I'm either thrilled at getting a saturday off tomorrow or I'm suffering from withdrawal symptoms at the lack of CFB. I can't decide which yet.

No Navy-Army game? Only college game my Dad would watch.

It doesn't look like I get it here.

I do get S. Carolina State v Prairie View A&M though. Struggling to get up for that one.

Washington v Boise State is watchable.

Alabama v Oklahoma tonight.

Some potentially interesting storylines.

1. Can Ty Simpson get his stock back on the right track.

2. R Mason Thomas v Kadyn Proctor

3. I'm interested in getting a good eye on Bray Hubbard.

4. Can Germie Bernard take over the game.

Sorry I have my days mixed up....lol

Alabama (9) v Oklahoma (8)

Miami (10) v Texas A & M (7)

Tulane (11) v Ole Miss (7)

Just think Miami v Texas A & M could be a cracker of a game.

I'm really looking forward to the Miami game. Unfortunately it doesn't look like Keionte Scott is playing.

Watching NC State vs Memphis. TE Cole Hardy with the good block to release the QB for the rush TD for the early lead.

This is not the Alabama of the Saban years.

17-0 Oklahoma to 17-17. Quite the turn around.

Playoff game winning catch by Bernard there.

What a time to miss only your 2nd FG of the season.

So it seems Jefferson had a good game. How were Hubbard and Pierre?

Pierre had a sack and a couple of pressures. Hubbard had a good blitz and pressure but didn't impact the passing game much in coverage. Neither had any missed tackles.

It's Mesi-Adore day!

It's going to be a tough match up though. Texas A&M's LT Trey Zuhn is the highest graded pass blocker in CFB. A big test which should be informative about both.
