2025 / 2026 College watch thread

Agreed. Ohio State got away with one there.

Ok by me if someone else wants to reach for Nyck Harbor.

Ohio St. finally opening up a bit of space.

Rightfully, Jeremiyah Smith gets all the attention but I think Malachi Toney might be the 2nd best WR in CFB. He's 18.

Some GM won't let Harbor fall to day 3.

For all the crap i give Harbor, this looked really good. The route was simple. But he was smooth, in control and made the catch clean, in stride while tracking it well. But if i were to be negative, I would point it was against his body as much as with his hands. Still, when you watch Harbor play and see the clear HOF potential, it is understandable why teams and analyst might talk themselves into taking him with a high pick in the draft.

Maybe he is only worth a 6th or 7th. But why not get him for a 5th? But if other teams are thinking the same, would a 4th out of question? But what if some team is thinking of using a 4th? Considering his potential a 3rd can be argued (and so on). Someone is going to over draft him on draft night.

But knowing how short term GMs think and knowing he won't be ready early if he ever is... I think anyone thinking he will go in the first 2 rounds is fooling themselves. I just don't see a GM willing to spend a top 64 pick on a potential bust who will do practically nothing year 1.

Edit: And while i did mention a team talking themselves in to round 3... I don't think any GM values him as a day 2 player come draft night no matter how big his upside is. We have seen plenty of physical freaks not go on day 1 or 2 who were raw. I don't think Harbor will be any different in that regard.

Derrick Moore and Jaishawn Barham haven't got any pressure on Sayin today. Big win for Siereveld and the rest of the Ohio State OL.

Three good games this weekend

1700 - Texas Tech v BYU (UK time)
2100 - Alabama v Georgia
0100 - Ohio State v Indiana

I maybe mistaken but I am only seeing 9 games this week (7 x Saturday and 2 x Sunday)....Chmpionship or play off games ?

As per @manxman2601 above these look like the games to watch this weekend

Yup. regular season is over. It's conference title games this weekend and then playoffs and bowl games beyond that.
