In all seriousness, I doubt it but he could get quite the haul considering how bereft of talent there is in the draft at QB and considering how many teams need a QB. Maybe he'd be better going all in on Malik Willis.

Mendoza's an excellent college player, but this was a chance to see him against at least 3 guys that will be drafted.

When Tomlin was fired and his name was brought up, since he was born in Pittsburgh, he made it clear that he's not an NFL guy. He's 64 too, kind of late to make a jump to the NFL. He also indicated that he had earlier in his career turned down NFL offers to be an assistant.

FYI.... this championship I believe triggers a clause in his contract to keep his salary in the top 3 of college coaches for as long as he stays at IU.
