Game Day Thread 2024 OFFICIAL WEEK 3 Game Thread NE @ NYJ

THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

If you do you will have your account suspended.

I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.

Lopsided on all metrics.

It’d be surprising to see NE climb this hill. The O has limitations & the NYJ have a better run D than the two first opponents.

Hope they don’t abandon the run here. You technically could still claw back into this albeit unlikely

After contact, it's supposed to count. And there was contact.
I meant sometimes they remember it counts and sometimes they forget

14-0 feels like 28-0 with this offense

Another complete BS call. That's not LEVERAGE.

Isn't the side of the leg down or am I trippin

So glad we don't have anymore Prime time games.

This is the team that I thought the Pats had. They are not even a competitive NFL franchise at this point.

And yes, that’s a TD

I thinks it's moreso a case of:

Patriots aren't as good as week 1 hype suggested

Jets aren't as bad as week 1 suggested.

A team with a QB like Rodgers with that talent around him SHOULD be a really difficult and good team, period. I personally had them neck and neck with the Bills in terms of difficulty. I know everyone hates him, but he's a smart, veteran QB who knows how to move the ball (in the regular season).

Nobody wanted to come here. Just is what it is.
And that could continue into next offseason unfortunately

This is the nightmare scenario for a team like ours: we have to pass to catch up, they know it, and we have Brisset behind the worst o-line in the league. Care for an other top-five pick? Ready to root for it? I'm not sure myself, but.... you've gotta root for some something actually in the realm of the possible.
Playoffs aren't an option. So do you want a high pick that you can dangle for a possible wagon or mid draft with a pick nobody will give anything for? I was really thinking this year was going to be much, much better. Through 2.2 games, it's not. Which sucks.

It’ll be Jalopy til halftime but maybe Drake after.

This maybe Brissett last start.
They will need a spark next week.
Can we please go get a number 1 WR, Polk isn’t explosive enough, Douglas is too short.
Thornton who knows what Thornton is.

I want to see Boutte and Baler out there why not.
I think there is a chance we see Maye after this game. Between Mayo's comments about wanting to push the ball downfield more and the mini-bye we will have before SF there is a potential opportunity.
