He was awful as a HC.

From what we have read, he wasn't good to his QB, and the WRS were pissing and moaning about how difficult the Offense was (pretty sure it was EP- which seems pretty difficult to learn), but 5-11,10-6,9-8 is the official W/L Record.
His Defense made Gilmore the DPOTY, without the constant pressure he brought, Gilly doesn't get that.

His other stuff I'm not thrilled about.

And AFAIK- From their record, he told the Owner to **** Off.

Seems like a Hard ass, but IIRC, they played tough down the stretch.
It was also his first time as the HC, which is not for everyone, and lotsa learning.
I think he'll be a good HC someday, I'm sure he's learned a bit more since.

Do you really think Patriot Place is a goldmine? For people who like praise (and don’t we all), where are all the media reports about the fabulous success story that is Patriot place. A mall in the middle of nowhere built around the start of the Great Recession in an era where malls have been dying left and right across the country.

Have you ever been there? I admit it’s been 5 years this Saturday since I was last there, but I was never impressed, and I’m a Maine boy. I can’t imagine it breaks even much less be a goldmine.

He won’t sell the team because it’s a huge part of his life and who has $9 billion to pay for it? Bezos, Musk, Buffett that’s about it, and they’re busy with more important things. The Celtics were supposed to have been sold by now. Why haven’t they? Perhaps, no one wants to pay what Forbes values the NBA champs at. No one has $8-9 billion to buy the Patriots and run them like the hobby you dopes think that an owner should.

Yes- Patriot Place is valuable because of the sports attraction and the value of the real estate.

Finally got to watch the game. I think Baringer was the only one who had a good game. Debatable would be Gibson and Erikson. Everyone else was blah to horrible, with most leaning to the latter. Woof.

That being said, there isn't that much difference between Maye and Herbert. Herbert had some really bad throws - more than I would expect for someone "elite." The difference in comfort that Herbert had in the pocket due to protection was startling. Getting tackles is the top top priority. Also someone who can pressure the dang QB.

Sigh.
