Because they legitimately have had some of the worst WR's in the league, a meh offensive line, and he was saddled with an offensive coach who will go down as one of the biggest blunders in NFL history. Whether Max is or isn't salvageable, a lot of the blame has very little to do with him and mostly with what is around him.

All of these points are magnified when you have a below average quarterback. Mac is a guy who would look good with elite talent around him (Bama) but he’s not a guy who can lift the play of average/below average talent (Brady).

Other than our typical first drive issues, the defense has really looked nice. Too bad the offense has been playing like garbage.
