If I’m Kraft I’m interviewing each kind of offensive system coach.
Maybe bring in a coaching staff with different offensive backgrounds and have a good mixture of philosophy.
To me it looked like he thought he could fit it into the sideline window before the defense caught up. Except the throw was not hard enough, with that horrible side throwing motion he loves, and was too inside.

To me it seems like all of the same problems will be there with Mayo since a lot of the staff and scouts will be retained and if the OC is any good he'll be gone in a season or two.
Exactly, giving a HC job to Mayo is sentimental and reckless.

Zappe will never be great or maybe even average but he will benefit greatly from more game experience so he can learn when to be careful and when to go for it.
