Highlights: Carolina at #1, Minnesota at #12, Oakland at #17.

1. Carolina Panthers (2-14)
2. Denver Broncos (4-12)
3. Buffalo Bills (4-12)
4. Cincinnati Bengals (4-12)
5. Arizona Cardinals (5-11)
6. Cleveland Browns (5-11)
7. San Francisco 49ers (6-10)
8. Tennessee Titans (6-10)
9. Dallas Cowboys (6-10)
10. Washington Redskins (6-10)
11. Houston Texans (6-10)
12. Minnesota Vikings (6-10)
13. Detroit Lions (6-10)
14. Seattle Seahawks (6-9)
15. Miami Dolphins (7-9)
16. Jacksonville Jaguars (8-8)

All these teams potentially have something in common, and involves a guy who takes the ball from the center.

Should be some talent available at 17 although at start of season was thinking the Oakland pick might be top 10 or even top 5! Probably trade down knowing belichick.

You got that right... should be plenty of non-QB talent falling down the board. I'd expect to see Luck, Mallett, Locker, Newton, and maybe Gabbert (if he declares) gone before pick #17.

I posted this elsewhere also: Isn't Oakland's strength of schedule weaker than Jacksonville's, making our pick #16 rather than #17?

Answered in the original post, but no, Oakland is .469, Jacksonville is .453

EDIT: Never mind. Sure enough we're 17th. Too bad Oakland played the Steelers!

So does this make the Vikings pick 76? Or is there some formula that alters the order of teams with equal records in rounds 2-7?

I believe it would make it #74. Should shift up two spots due to equal record rotation in rounds 2-7. Still working on confirmation.

Your picks moves up one spot each round when you're bunched with teams who have the same record. Seven teams were 6-10. Minny picks 6th among that group in the first round. 5th in the 2nd, and 4th in the 3rd. When you get to the top of the group. You drop down to the bottom at the start of the next round. SF picks first in Round 1. Then 7th in round 2, 6th in round 3. Moves like that.
