I like the decision there.

Thomas showed a lot of promise to end the year, and Bush is there to help them out when not hurt.

It was Thomas's proformance which lead me to take the DB but how about the RB's have slid down this draft. Might look at RB later in the draft but near the end of the first round we have some good names still left out there to get picked. Round two should be interesting.

Regarding trades, they can only be made with this year's picks (e.g., no trading of a 2009 3rd for a 2010 2nd.)

Green Bay has the 41st pick in the 2nd round along with the 73rd and the 84th picks in the 3rd round.

The NFL has not yet officially announced the compensatory picks. Did we decide we are or are not going to include the projected compensatory picks per Adamjt13's analysis?

They should announce them before we get to round 3 and since they won't affect round 2's order we can procede with the draft. But to answer your question...Yes we are going to include them once they've been announced. I know this affects the trade value of the day 2 picks, but it's minimal and since the comp picks can't be traded anyway it's kind of a moot point. Another thing I should mention is... once we've started a particular round any trades made in the real NFL affecting that round or previous rounds won't be noticed in our mock. In other words once we start the 2nd round selections the draft order is set for that round regardless of any future dealings in the NFL.

Why is it such a surprise for you that the Titans would take a DT to replace Haynesworth? I had it narrowed down to 3 positions they needed. WR, DT, and CB. And I felt with the depth at CB and WR in the draft, it was better to go with someone who will have a more immediate impact.

I was between Davis and Alex Mack. I decided on BPA and Davis does fill a need with Townsend being 33 and McFadden signing with Arizona.

Because they drafted Jason Jones in the 2nd round last year, they also signed Jovan Haye from the bucs this offseason and Tony Brown is still on the team, as WR they only signed Nate Washington and they only have the 35 yrs old Harper and Finnegan at CB.

Maybe not the Cardinals greatest need, but this was the guy I originally traded up to 26 to get.

To get him at 33 and the first back off the board is pretty amazing really.

He can provide the perfect 1-2 combo alongside Hightower allowing Edgerrin James off elsewhere.

Superb move patriotscpfc, When you traded up with Indy I supposed you wanted a RB (this draft is the first in nfl history where no RB were taken in the first round) and when you trade down with me I supposed you were going to lose at least one of them (NO) but now you are on the clock with both of them, for me this is the steal of the draft.

There were other options out there to take, but I could not pass up on Moreno. I like Wells better, but Knowshon is better for the Cardinals in my opinion.
