so, its like the Olympics with cheaper tickets...

Do basically like the regular, except you don't need a doctor's note to take steroids, just a prescription for steroids that are FDA approved....

The short answer is that there's a point where it stops being about the athlete and more about their equipment/regimen/doctors, etc.

Like how swimming banned full-body suits because they ended up being the deciding factor over swimming talent

Except all swimmer can wear full-body suits or get any kind of equipment.

Just take one hypocrisy and replace it with another.

My point is that I'm not sure there's much of a long-term audience for seeing who can come up with the best PED regimen. And even less so if it means only athletes who have/can get financial support can participate.

Have you seen the Olympics? They have had pretty good staying power.

So with all the juice, the bodysuit, they could not beat the non ped record? Or that is not how we should see it?
This tournament is one I can honestly say no one is cheating.

I don’t think there should be a place to glorify PED use. That said, I’ve long thought that close to all top athletes are using in some form. Seoul 1988 opened my eyes, as a young person, and I’ve been skeptical since. If curlers and slender middle relievers are using, I think it’s naive to not question the muscle bound.

East German Olympians.........

I am not going to watch, but I am not against it. As long as everyone is playing on the same playing field where everyone can take performance enhancing drugs, then I think it is a fair competition. In professional sports, it gives an unfair advantage because they are banned and even if they weren't not everyone would use them.

But if every swimmer used the same full-body suit, then it wouldn't be a deciding factor in swimming talent. It only matters if some swimmers use the suits and others do not.

That could work if there were only one supplier. There were at least 3 major ones in the arms race.

Also, those suits were very expensive and could only be used a small number of times.

The amount of players who use PEDs in the NFL would shock you. The actual number, I mean.
