Bo Nix Injury Recovery complications

ESPN article and Broncos. Sorry mate won’t click. Hope the kid gets better though.

Something a bit odd about this one. I remember hearing that there was some kind of heightened injury risk with that ankle that went undiscovered or something. This can’t feel like great news for Broncos fans.

Yeah it's gonna be a problem for them. Trash organization so I don't really care.

Who did the donks bring in as a back up? Stiddy ain't a long term option

Over on Xitter, FWIW, they said it was an "anticipated" procedure.

Well if he played in the AFC Title Game, could had a different outcome for the Broncos and for the Patriots on the way to SB LX!

What kind of a fool gets his $100M ankle operated on in Birmingham, Alabama?
What kind of fool thinks that the area of the country matters when it comes to great doctors???

You do know that Dr. James Andrews created the American Sports Medicine Institute in .. wait for it.... Birmingham, Alabama... Guy only did surgeries on the likes of Bo Jackson, Roger Clemens, Drew Brees and Tom Brady.. But,, Yeah.. They're all fools, right?

I believe he might have consulted on Brady's surgery, but the surgery itself was performed in LA by Neal ElAttrache.

Didn’t he have a past injury history that hadn’t come to light until this latest injury? Or something like that?

He had 3 surgeries on the right ankle in HS and college.

Maybe, but on the other hand there are multiple small clean up operations that are pretty routine after an ankle surgery. Many are arthroscopic day surgeries not even needing an overnight stay. Removing a small bone spur or scar tissue etc; or removing hardware like plates and screws etc if he had any; are all examples. The bronco reports seem to say it was scheduled and don't seem worried in the least. Offseason workouts start next week for them so hardly surprising he would be limited.

Considering his best trait is his mobility the fact he has serious ankle issues at his age is definitely something to watch. The play he broke it on was not violent. Clearly that ankle is prone to an issue that isn't in the past.

I hope it heals and he’s ok to play. I don’t like to see any player injured and I wish no injury on any player.

So then if the Patriots beat the Broncos in 2026 I guess that won't count. Or something.
