I suppose that's true but still. I don't want Allen, I'd like to keep Stidham and Hoyer but I hope it's not truly a QB competition because Hoyer is a baller and no one wants to see him start the season.

I can see a scenario where they were looking for a back up q.b who could push for the job which lead them to sniff around multiple potential back up qbs. Hoyer just made more sense.
