Why was Bolden doing it anyways? Not a very dynamic player aside from that one game last season randomly.

The fact that Cannon was listed as "limited" all week and practiced and flew down with the team is great news. I don't care if he's not playing. Just that he's this CLOSE is tremendous news.

I expect the offense to move the ball and be on the field for 70+ snaps , so given the humidity and heat, I would expect there to be a LOT of backups getting snaps this week, so chances are we will get a good look at who we have backing up. And if the number of back up OLmen who have been coming through Foxboro this week, it would behoove these back ups to play very well.

Agree. It is early season so conditioning for the big bodies at the OL might not be 100% yet AND we are playing in the heat of Miami. There will be a rotation going on.

Cannon is absolute emergency depth I would assume.

I expect cannon to be inactive. 8 OL active, one more than normal for the opportunity to get all 3 newcomers some reps.

If this were a game against KC, Cleveland, Dallas, or any other SB contender, Cannon would likely play. It's a game where backups can prove their worth.
