Confidence just went out the door, because the Patriots have a losing record whenever Blakeman's officiating.

I was excited about the temperature and snow, but this news really grinds my gears. Not what I wanted to hear.

This sucks major floppy donkey balls, to say the least.

Mahomes when it's 0 deg out..lets see how he handles it. I want it -20

I’m not a fan of Blekeman (ok, not many refs I can say I am) but at least it’s not Anderson, Corrente, or Boger.

So he’s reffed 4 Patriots games in 4 years and he’s bad?

Patriots played like crap vs Detroit this year. Had nothing to do with refs.

AFC Championship? Let them play it out in second half vs jags.

Didnt ref a game in 2016 for Pats.

Don’t see where the unease is coming from?

The overturned penalty @ Carolina. More than 4 years ago.

Pretty bad call. Still, I’m going to go out on a limb and just say Pats have to go to Kansas City and not expect any help from the refs. Play their game and beat them clean and convincingly.

We all know what happened at Denver after Ghost missed the extra point and had the PI ignored at the end vs Talib. Just take it out of the refs hands.

I know most fans don't care, but there are refs that I feel have an agenda.

The NE vs LA game was officiated pretty good. .. Some calls went against us, but most seemed legit. It happens.
They let them play, like most post season games.

Right or wrong, I don't like his crew. A little home cooking is possible.

The Pats need to play lights out to eliminate any chance of BS calls.
This will most likely be a shoot out. But a good ol' fashioned beat down would be a beautiful "STFU everybody" send off!!

I don't like KC fans.

… And FU to everyone at BSPN

A bad omen indeed. Time to defeat the omen!

Edit: Looks like we already defeated that omen last AFC champ game.

Clete Blakeman NFL Official Statistics | Pro-Football-Reference.com

The Patriots games officiated by Blakeman:
2008 at San Diego - Patriots got their butts kicked
2008 vs Arizona - Patriots win
2010 at Cleveland - Patriots got their butts kicked
2011 at KC - Patriots win
2012 at Seattle - Patriots lose a close one due to clock mismanagement an bad pass defense
2013 at Carolina - Patriots get legitimately screwjobbed by the refs
2015 vs Dallas - Patirots win
2015 at NY Jets - Patriots let Quincy Eneuwa run all over them
2017 vs Jacksonville - Patriots win
2018 at Detroit - Patriots get their butts kicked

10 games, 1 of which was impacted by bad officiating. I would attribute the Patriots tendency to lay a total stinker in Blakeman officiated games to random chance.

It’s @Quest4SixHomie who tends to go chicken little

The first person to congratulate Tom Brady after the Patriots' win last year was a ref in the Pats win over the Jags - that guy was the ref in question here.
Was he congratulating TB on beating the Jags or him?
J/K.

What I'm really hoping for is, that it's so damned cold, that the crowd will be muffled by layers of clothing and scarves over their mouths.

That would help immensely in possible offsides and such.

Not to mention the cold would probably fit our style of play better.
And TB and BB thrive in the crappy weather.
