We're on to the Vikings - at Gillette

No way he is not active. If either Hogan, Edelman, or Gordon get injured, we lose our 11 personnel if Dorsett is inactive.
Sure the can. They would move Cord to WR.

That does not mean they get better at the position

He can't run a route to save his life, never mind succeed in plays calling for him to read what the defense gives him (i.e., see the same thing that Brady does).

Can't stand Simms but he's spot on.

Also doing it to maintain possession longer as the D is not a stout one.

Ahead of the curve going to the spread - ahead of the curve bringing back the fullback.

Even if Chiefs run the table, much easier match up for Pats W/O Hunt, he has been a nightmare for the Pats.

He's the one player on that offense that truly scares me. Not just with the run (and he's an elite runner), but catching the ball, not just out of the backfield or on screens, but on long wheel routes, etc. He's the best in the business. Or, I guess, was, for now.

He's Marshall Faulk on the Greatest Show on Turf. The operation just doesn't run the same without him.

Interesting. I’m sure some of you have mentioned this before.

Simms in 60: Patriots Trying to Outsmart NFL Once Again with Power Run Scheme

That was the reason the Pats got Hill. Makes you wonder how strong this run game would be with Hill added to a healthy Michel and ol.
But it's working now. If all the key guys can stay healthy, watch out for this offense. Has the potential to be one of the best all time NE offenses. Would be great to see a well-oiled machine by playoff time.

Keys for us to win.

Create defensive turnovers.
Good red zone D

Make sure we turn 3 into 7.
Establish Sony early.
Spread them out.
Go Empty.

The key to the Pats winning
1) must contain the Vikes offense our corner backs must have a sharp game. This is a very good passing team. Very gifted. On average put up 24 points per game. Cousins is a gunslinger 2 nd in passing and 3rd completions in NFL. If we can't stop or slow down their offense we are done because our offense is not consistent.
2) Pats have to limit Thielen and Diggs running after catching the ball.
3) the Vikes don't have much of a running game
The Pats can't have a sloppy game on offense.
1) use our run guys and Edelman for the passing game.

Go Pats

No argument there.

As limited of a route tree he has, he still has one.

With that said if it comes down to either Dorsett or Cord, Cord has more overall versatility in ST and the offense.

Line down to 5. I take it Vikes are getting the money. Think this will be a close one, Vikes are well coached and talented. Our defense needs to make some plays today.
