So, in six of the ten games played previously, Brady has faced a Top 5 pass defense. I'm not sure what people expect to see when that happens, especially in January. In any event, the Steelers this year have the #16 ranked pass defense. Twice Brady has actually had bad games against a less than Top 10 Pass Defense, but those are also the two oldest examples. One could even argue that the 2012 performance against the Ravens was somewhat inevitable as it was the sixth time the two teams had met in the last four seasons.

The two most recent examples of Brady facing a less than Top 10 Pass Defense, the Pats went 1-1, but Brady was actually decent.

Last Two Games Against Less Than Top Ten Defenses:
45/73, 503yds, 4TD, 1INT - 94.7

And he posted a nice little line against the Colts in the 2014 AFCCG, so I guess that means Brady is trending up. Or, I'm just hacking the **** outta these statistics.

I'm missing this year's AFC Championship. I have attended all the previous ones at Gillette. Here's something people should think about: in most of those games, the weather has been pretty freakin cold. Off the top of my memory, Brady's "I sucked" game against the Chargers in 07 was in 5-10 degree weather. I know, I was there. I was handing out hand warmer silicon packets to crying Charger fans. The Baltimore game prior to the 2011 Super Bowl was also cold, and again Brady had a decent but not superb game. Of course, he also lost Gronk in the middle of the game.

The good thing is that the opponent's QB has also struggled in this weather.

I can go on, but surely you remember Zazh Piller freaking out, "I can't feel my feet!" during the championship game against the Titans.
