Worst SB I have ever seen

Worst SB I have ever seen

I'll try to be unbiased as possible, but this was the worse SB ever.

Manning couldn't throw deep and had 13 completions (a couple of those were dump offs on 3rd and long as well. The Denver offense had maybe one decent drive, the defense/ST basically gave them 18 of their points (1 DST TD, 1 DST fumble in the red zone, and a punt return in FG range).

Cam Newton looked like a deer in a headlight. He was overthrowing guys, holding the ball too long not going to his dump offs. A couple of the catches that were made were basically close my eyes and pray for a catch.

Bad turnovers by both teams.

Refereeing was not good for both sides.

The good:
great tackling by both teams (other than the Punt return), i enjoyed seeing Von/Demarcus and Luke/Davis Sr. combos.

Terrible superbowl. Both offenses were atrocious and it wasn't because the defenses played well.

On the other hand, I'm not sure I can rank my favorites (which are not surprising, all Patriots victories) but I think if you force me 36 will always be the best SB I've ever seen.

TV ratings numbers are in:

Super Bowl 2016 TV ratings: Broncos, Panthers came close, but couldn't top Super Bowl XLIX

The Denver Broncos' 24-10 win over the Carolina Panthers in Super Bowl 50 couldn't quite break the ratings record set in Super Bowl XLIX last year.

Super Bowl 50 ratings peaked at 51.0/73 during the 10-10:15 p.m. ET range, indicating that 51 percent of television-equipped households were tuned in and 73 percent of all television-equipped households with a television currently in use were watching.

But the average overnight rating of 49.0/73 for Super Bowl 50 came up just short of the 49.7 record ratings set last year in a thrilling game between the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks that was decided in the final minutes.

Wow, that is legit surprising. Each Super Bowl is always higher rated than the last. Until the NFLs SUPER DUPER SPECIAL 50th GOLDEN CELEBRATION. They must be pissed

I'm sorry buddy but that's biased. I don't know how old you are but if you remembered the Super Bowls from the 80's, 90's you wouldn't say it was the worst. Hell, the Steeleres/Seahawks Super Bowl was way worse than last night's...and Giants vs Ravens, snooze fest. Last night is fresh in your head and it wasn't good but hardly the worst. Good day.

Last night SB was a good defensive battle between the two teams, both offenses played below average at best.
Just one team committed less turnovers than the other one.

I thought the Ravens/Giants superbowl was pretty good. That was awesome defensive play. Steelers/Seahawks....now, that was a terrible superbowl

I'm the biggest fan of defense there is, but this was outright boring. I got more entertainment from the commercials than the actual game.

I found the game painful to watch, but I recall a bunch of blowouts in the 80's or so that were truly bad if your team wasn't winning. In fact, ironically, Elway's three losses as an SB QB were by scores of 39--20, 42--10 and 55--10. So, it's fair to say that the Broncos have accounted for some of the most godawful games in SB history.
