On to Miami

Given that we have a bye, I'm wondering if they will concede the #1 seed in the interest of getting some people healthy, especially if the Bengals win Monday.
The Bengals aren't winning in Denver with McCarron at QB.

This season has shown how stupid it is to have a week 4 bye. Especially when you have teams playing Thursday Night Football games every week. Hopefully, some day the NFL will make an actually useful rule change and have week 9 set as a permanent bye for all teams. Or weeks 8 and 9. The Patriots have played 12 straight damn games. Imagine if they weren't getting a bye week, they'd have to play 17 straight games to win the Super Bowl. So ****ing ******ed.

Could just shorten the season.

I'm not going to feel good going into the playoffs if we can't beat Miami's backup QB (assuming Tannahill is done).

However, we could still get the #1 seed with a loss in Miami. I fully expect Denver to beat the Bengals tomorrow but there's a real chance that the Chargers (with extra rest from playing on Thursday) can upset Denver playing on short rest.

Patriots-Dolphins will remain an early (1:00 pm ET) game.

Week 17 Flex Schedule

Minnesota at Green Bay will be the Sunday night game.

Jets at Buffalo, Baltimore at Cincy, Pitt at Cleveland are all 1:00 games.

Oakland at KC, SD at Denver among the late games.

No announcements yet on what games will be on which network (other than SNF/NBC).

There is a very good chance that at least one of the early AFC games with playoff implications will be cross-flexed to FOX.
