Chika what?!? Everywhere else said "may return for the post season".
Sorry, Sorry my bad.
it was a tweet from an individual who made up his own headline. I couldn't click on the link because suddenly my WiFi is the speed of dial up.

Yes that INT he threw 10 yards at the middle of the field with no bronco in sight is becase of he foot/rib/neck and everything.
He's had 4 good games over his last 16 with an off season splitting them up. The why doesn't matter he's done.

watched the last bit of plays again. Wow beckham was wide open on 2nd and 10 , pats rolled coverage to the outside and eli didnt even read through the progression and just threw it to the fade. Dont know if our coverage broke or we just read the play and let beckham go.

Just seen this on twitter. It looks like Malcolm came up hobbling after the last D play.

Gary Striewski?@garystriewski
Uhoh, Butler comes up limping after that play

Just click on the name and scroll down. Forgot about the not link to game gifs.

Watch the post game with Curran on field with Giradi. Photographer is pointing at something in the background and then Butler comes bouncing along.

I'd say he's fine.

And people were wondering why were not throwing bombs all the time.
And this popped into my head:

Word to your moms, I came to drop bombs
I got more rhymes than the Bible's got Psalms.

Gutsy, gritty, tough blood and guts win. These are the types of games that make a team championship tough. Love the heart of this team.

(Faux) Gruden appoints Gost the GOAT

Absolutely the best game that I have seen since the super bowl. Reminded me a lot of 2001 where all phases came together to eek out a win. Although it was only by 1 point its seems like 50 point win. The Giants had them, but the Pats came back to deliver the KO.

This type of win can propel a team to go a long way. Total team effort. Blocking on Dolas return was a thing of beauty. The Pats are so well trained that it makes me so proud. So many huge individual plays all around: Ninko sack, Jones force fumble, Butler making plays all day, Almendola of course. The OL in shambles, but still giving Brady just enough time. Blounts toughness turning nothing into first downs or short yardage downs.

The 4 best in the NFL always deliver. BB, Brady, Gronk and Gostowski.

Explains why he went out and in came Melvin who was getting torched - worst CB i've seen on this team this year.

Melvin gave me flashbacks to Duane Starks. That's never a good thing.

Thoughts...

#1 This is the best O the Pats have played all year. It is good they got to play a good QB (Eli was "good eli" this game) with the weapons they have. It is the closest they will get to playing the Bengals O for the rest of the year. I was glad to see the D adjust in the 2nd half. I hope this gives them something to reference for WHEN we play them in the AFCCG.

#2 The OL finally was a let down. It can only take so much and when you can't get the ball out super quick you get 2 strip sacks and Brady looks not as good. They need to get some guys back. If you can not get the ball out faster (which with Lewis/Edelman out now you can't as easily) you need to protect better. Hopefully guys start to come back soon

#3 Pass rush has been only so-so recently but was playing 2 of the better OLs in the NFL.. Giants/Redskins even with injuries have a lot of talent. Sheard will get healthier and Collins coming back will go a lot way to helping. Brown has really done well in the run stopping game but the pass rush still needs some work. overall the DTs have been doing well. I think they can and will do better as the year goes on though.

#4 I am officially sold on both Ryan and Butler. I am not calling them all pros but I think they have proven it. Butler made the jump and continues to and after an up and down early career for Ryan in his 3rd year he finally gets it. He is a solid #2. Has been all season and I don't think he will ever not be that injury aside. Doing it this long well while having the training wheels off and doing well just doesn't happen. The #3 spot is a concern but I think with Ryan/Butler we have 2/3rds of our long term starting CBs.

#5 Safety play has been bad at times this year. I am not worried about it though. Harmon messing up that long TD pass... McCourty messing up this one... McCouryt failing to pick up that fumble in week 3 (maybe 4?) A few other bad angels happened this year too. But overall this is what the unit is. A very good unit that will occasionally not a mistake but not often. (I don't count that Harmon play which stopped the TD for Amendola as a safety play) While this unit has proven to be mortal at times overall the mistakes have been rare and glaring over the body of work. I am still happy with how it has done.
One other note.. in the 2nd half they did a lot of 3 safety looks to adjust the the D overall stopped the bleeding. Maybe they found something there for these good vertical passing Os.

It was a great game and the right team won. What I don't get about all the media outlets talking about the ODB drop and interception drop fail to realize that if Brady doesn't throw his worst pass of the year, the Pats probably get the TD (a second time) and put the game out of reach.

It is like they expected Brady to throw the pick and give no credit to the Pats defense for holding the Giants to a FG.

Oh my God don't get me started on Melvin. My blood pressure rose just reading his name. I can't tell you how many times I yelled "TURN AROUND AND LOOK FOR THE F***ING BALL!!" which was always followed by a pass interference flag shortly after. In fact, I remember saying it again once, and the guy actually turned around and made a pass deflection on the deep left sideline. But that wasn't Melvin, it was Logan Ryan LOL. Go figure

Brady got a huge break on that last drop, very very similar to the Saints comeback in 2013. Horrible horrible throw for what should have lost the game. Big props for keeping his composure.
If I remember correctly, Brady got hit real hard just as he threw that pass. Not an excuse for the horrible pass, just some context.
