Is it my imagination or is the board full of humorless people who can't enjoy the very talented comedic writing of the columnist?

This piece by Dan Steinberg is some of the wittiest, funniest stuff I've read in a long time, and the only reactions from you guys is to go all [prominent poster name deleted] over it and to gravely and soberly debate the name issue.
