10 Years Later, Gillette Stadium Still a Great Venue
By: Ian Logue

It's been 10-years since fans sat on metal bleachers, and Gillette Stadium was definitely the biggest upgrade of the Robert Kraft era in Foxboro....

************ it's been 10 years

That was the first game my entire family attended. My son was 4, my daughter 7, and it was like I had died and gone to Patriot heaven.

I vividly remember wearing my Super Bowl beads, walking around, looking at the stadium, not watching where I was going, bumping into guys who were doing the same thing.

"oops, sorry dude"
"pretty nice, huh?"
"amazing!"

It was a great night.

From mounds of dirt in early 2001......

To home of the 3 Time Super Bowl Champion Patriots

My favorite place on the planet.

For the record I still have not missed a regular season game or playoff game played at this stadium. And have missed very few preseason games. Also I did not miss a single game in the final season at Foxboro Stadium. Not exactly sure when the last home game I missed was but it goes back to 2000 or even earlier.
