It's not in its infant stage. We had 18 rushing TDs last year in the regular season. I can't remember the last time we got that many rushing TDs in the Belichick era.

Actually 19 ( Brady had one.)
Rushing TDs
2006 --20
2007--17
2008--21
2009-19

I am another fan who wants too see what Vereen and Ridley brings to the running game.....I'm sure they'll both get more chances as the season progresses and they get more comfortable with the playbook.....for now, we have to wait for spots to see them shine.....spelling either BJGE or Woody when needed......

The future looks very bright for the Pats at that position.......Not sure there's room for Faulk unless a RB gets IR'd......

Yet, the NE run game couldnt do it vs the Jets in the playoffs. Then, Pitt ran over the Jets like they were road kill the next week.

The 4 pronged attack of Ridley, Vereen, Woody and BJGE is just beginning. We already know how things could turn out with just Woody and BJGE.

The Pats will be a better run team this season and into the playoffs by spreading carries through RB by committee.
