Starting on Friday, the team can focus on Miami game AND on possible roster changes. There is no need today. Any of the following could be put on IR. There is plenty of room for Redd and/or any free agent that Belichick thinks will help. I certainly want to see at least one running back active soon. I think/hope the team is evaluating whether Thomas should be able to play with a cast after Christmas.

I agree,,,with a short week..they are not rushing anyone in now...the ONLY move I could see them making is Redd-for Thomas...but I think the "out for the year" thing was a bit premature.. I agree mostlikely wait and see..this is a 10 day period..a LONG time..

How long has Alexander been injured? I'm quite surprised he hasn't been put on IR -- they've kept a roster slot for him for a very long time, it seems, and it's not (I think) as if he's an indispensable contributor.

True but he's a STer and a nth string LB. Earlier, BB didn't KNOW how Guyton or Redd would work out and needed LB depth too. ST guys should be the ones geting injured and it's prident to have depth there. If the medics give hope for AD's Jan '09 return, I think that Alexander's days are numbered. Off to IR next week as Redd gets promoted to the 53 and is designated a game active.
