I was never a fan, then he knocked us out of the playoffs 7-6 with that cheap TD run. Gut punch loss, hated him after that. It's easy to forget these guys are people too. Didn't hear about this at the time, but this was a really good read.

That's really sad to hear a local city person would try to bring down their own local QB like that. Reminds me of the story Bill Russell had just won a championship yet some local townies broke into his home and defecated on his bed. One of the reasons why Russell moved to Seattle after playing and never came back to Boston.

I had forgotten about that story. Sad.

I want to stick it to Pittsburgh about how they're such assholes, but sadly, I feel like Boston has that same nastiness. Cam didn't have a great year, but we didn't know that it would go that way in Week 1 or 2 when there were people in New England trashing him for some of the same reasons.

Glad to hear he's doing well. He seems to be comfortable in his own skin and happy...enough anyway.
