The Patriots must make moves before the NFL Draft because we have done crap. Weaponize? Ha! Here are five solid moves to contemplate.

I'm sure other teams are lining up to trade us their stars for the price some random half drunk fan thinks we can get away with paying. People still struggling to escape an inescapable truth. THE PATRIOTS ARE NOT SPECIAL ANYMORE. We're simply 1 of 32 teams, and not a particularly good one...

    Breaking: Diggs traded to Texans

no, just like they're not talking about the RG3 era. It's not about Howell, it's not about RGIII, and it's not about whoever the hell else gets sent to the hell that is JFK Arena. "getting a hit" is partially about organizational strength. Teams like Carolina and Washington, who have none...

Mike Sando shares what some NFL Execs think about the new NE Pats

Oh no cousins, it's awful, WE LOST THE OFFSEASON BOWL!

Should we consider drafting Joe Alt in the first round?

Brissett is the starter in 24. We know he can take a licking and keep on ticking, and if he does happen to get hurt, not much is lost. If we get our high profile rookie hurt we're in the crap for as much as another 5 years. They're not gonna rush him if they're smart, and I think they're...

Patriots Rumors: Eliot Wolf ‘Pushing Hard’ For This QB Prospect

Pratt is being super slept on because of how frontloaded the draft is. In a normal year he probably goes in the middle of the first round, likely between 12 and 25. But with so many other talents available he may fall to 35. Not an incredible arm but an above average arm, a high level of...

Patriots Rumors: Eliot Wolf ‘Pushing Hard’ For This QB Prospect

call me nuts but I'd like to see if we could come down with Michael Pratt. I'd trade down, give up the big 3, snag pratt and an OL/RB in the first round if possible, and build from there. I bet you're on board with the idea because of all the QB prospects on tap, Pratt has the most catlike...

How Belichick lost his place in posterity

If I'm not mistaken, Steve was the secondary coach at the time meaning he was working directly with Butler. if Butler was insubordinate to and/or got into a fight with Bill's son, that might make the old man see red enough to do something in response.

How Belichick lost his place in posterity

Oh for the love of... how many times do we have to hear this before people figure out that the answer is ALL OF THE ABOVE. Bill needed Brady, Brady needed Bill, and they both needed the version of Robert Kraft that existed during the dynasty years. Without a clever, experienced head coach, a...

    Breaking: Diggs traded to Texans

if we focus on QB to the exclusion of other areas of the field, we won't become the Bills, we'll become the Washington Football Team. How many different times was a new QB gonna come in and magically fix everything down there? The number is not small. if you don't build out the rest of the...

    Breaking: Diggs traded to Texans

Refresh my memory, was it Caserio who got us 2 seconds for Matt Cassell?
  11. Simpelton

Should we consider drafting Joe Alt in the first round?

Another thing too. Guys who would normally be good enough to get picked up as QBs in the first round are going to slip into the second. Not everyone needs a QB and the draft is fairly QB rich. There may be some good values left at QB at 35.

    Hip Drop Tackle Banned

In the minority again I like this move. Lots of people out of the woodwork screaming at clouds like every time someone proposes new things . Meanwhile this tackle is dangerous enough that even most of them admit the league should at least look at it.

Vikings working out 5 year extension with Jefferson [possibly fake?]

The history of free agent quarterbacks is not a very good one. For the most part teams will bend over backwards to keep their quarterbacks so the guys who hit F A are the ones who won't reach a deal with their teams for varying reasons. Many of those reasons are distinctly unflattering...

What is your preferred offensive style?

I was kinda hoping people would take my typo about the offensive lime and run with it. Want something done do it yourself.

What is your preferred offensive style?

The basics of football don't change from year to year. A good offensive line is the bedrock on which every great offense is built. Patrick Mahomes in SB55 demonstrates extremely clearly that if the offense lime spits the bit, the entire offense collapses, even with an exceptionally talented QB...

The Patriots FO needs to avoid appeasing the fans.

Johnny Manziel was a proven winner. Gimme a guy whose style is either a fit for what the rest of the offense can do, or at least has the skills to allow the team to build a style of offense that works for them.

The Patriots FO needs to avoid appeasing the fans.

Don't mind McCarthy, but with a weak o-line, I want the guy who can run. Whoever we have back there will have to be able to escape. So I want the guy with the best 40 time

The Patriots FO needs to avoid appeasing the fans.

The QB I want isn't the one that's destined to go in the top 5 picks. I want Michael Pratt. I like his combination of athleticism and throwing ability. if he could learn to step into his throws just a bit more he could be something.
  19. Simpelton

The Patriots FO needs to avoid appeasing the fans.

if Kraft can't stomach a couple lean years after all the time he had during the Dynasty to rake it in, then he shouldn't be in this business at all. If you want to appease the fans bring guys like Bruschi, Wilfork, Moss, Edelman, Brady, Chung, Troy Brown, Slater, etc to do on field events on...

What is your preferred offensive style?

Which is why I declined to limit people to 1 choice. But there's gotta be an style you have the most fun watching when it works.
