DRAFT 2024 4th Round Pick - WR Javon Baker

Back in the prime of the Brady days, I would have hated bakers ****iness from a rookie. Now I love it. This team needs an alpha, someone with his moxie. I get Stephon Diggs vibes from him on and off the field (for better and worse).

There's No Way Schuster Makes This Team.

Even if Juju is better, I don’t see what the point is, this team should be playing the kids to get ready for when Maye is.

    DRAFT 2024 2nd Round Pick - WR Ja'Lynn Polk

I believe it is was tracked by GPS. Yes it is “in game” not in shorts. It shows the difference between acceleration and top speed. Nabers has insane acceleration but isn’t even on this list for top speed. The receivers we drafted are the opposite.

    DRAFT 2024 2nd Round Pick - WR Ja'Lynn Polk

I found this interesting. Top speed is not the same as 40 time but it shows once they accelerate, both guys have good top speeds that you can see on film help their late separation just before the ball arrives. Combined with their ridiculous ball skills, this is how both guys win down the field.

WIDE RECEIVER - IS BOURNE HEALTHY?

I love Bourne and Osborn seems like a nice veteran piece but for a rebuilding team, my opinion is the starting trio on week 1 should be Baker, Polk and Douglas with Thornton mixed in. This doesn’t mean they give you the best chance to win, but if Maye is sitting at the beginning of the year...

DRAFT 2024 4th Round Pick - WR Javon Baker

I like both Polk and Baker as players, but my question now is, where is the pure speed going to come from for this offense?

Day 3 - First Two Picks

Troy Franklin would be a dynamite pick in the fourth round. Tez Walker’s speed and experience with Maye is intriguing.

    DRAFT 2024 2nd Round Pick - WR Ja'Lynn Polk

Polks film does NOT show a n’keal harry, no separation player. He’s a downfield weapon and there are plenty of examples of separation with outstanding ball skills. He may not be a true number one but he and Maye will make big plays. I’m confident in that

    Pick the Pats NEW WR

Draft experts love using terms like “deceptively fast” with him too, which means “white but fast”. They stereotype guys like crazy.

Patriots Rumor Pats inquired about a Deebo trade with SF

Pass. He’s declining already, injury prone, and not even a true wide receiver. He’s a luxury weapon for a great team, not a foundational piece for a rebuilding team.

    Pick the Pats NEW WR

He played 75% of his snaps outside last year. Only his skin color profiles him as strictly slot.

    Pick the Pats NEW WR

PLEASE don’t pick N’keal-on Coleman. Receivers who can’t separate need not apply.

    Pick the Pats NEW WR

The high end talent remaining at receiver is just Better than at tackle. No tackles worth 34 are available. Trade back into the end of the second round to take one. Mitchell or McConkey at 34.
  14. E

What position should the Pats take with their next [Day 2, #34] pick?

Despite the obvious slot receiver stereotype I truly feel McConkey can win on the outside due to his athleticism and absolutely absurd route running ability. He’s the pick for me.

Giants trying to trade up for Maye

I think the Vikings would give up way more than this to move to 5. Plus Harbaugh would probably rather he end up on the Vikings
  16. E

    Highest Ceiling Or Highest Floor?

Mac Jones is a good example of how “high floor or low floor” is meaningless terminology. Every single prospect in the draft has the exact same floor: Bust who is out of the league in 2 years. Nobody is exempt. Some guys might be, or appear, more polished but the floor is bust for them all...

    Trade 34 for

Can you please explain how a second team all pro is patently not top 10? I’m curious.
  18. E

    Trade 34 for

This is just not correct. Aiyuk was second team all pro last year and has far, far surpassed Samuel both statistically and in skill set. Niners fans almost universally want to trade Samuel and keep aiyuk. Aiyuk was top 7 in receiving yards in the league last year. His production last year is...

    Trade 34 for

AJ brown went for a first round pick. 34 is not enough for a top 10 receiver who is 26 years old. We could only dream of a receiver picked at 34 being as good as Aiyuk.
  20. E

Can you place conditions on a traded pick?

It would have to be handshake unofficial. In this particular case I don’t think Arizona would do it because it’s pretty certain a QB is going at 3, plus they don’t seem tied to Harrison, they’re open to trading down
