This latest loss is on me.

I shaved my goatee the day before the 07 Super Bowl... think about it almost everyday. Some people will tell you it softens with time but I am here to tell you that they are wrong, it will always be there you just need to find a way to move forward, it won’t be easy but alcohol helps.

    Playing to Harry's strengths

Correct on pint #2, ask anyone. Guilty, just like Dennis Leary says “I am an *******” but.... Extremely deep draft at WR, Patriots had their choice of all except M. Brown and choose a stinker, several players taken in rounds 2-4 look like impact options. His play is only one of many reasons...

    Playing to Harry's strengths

Sorry to pile on.. well not really, I am not sorry. Watching Harry I wonder if he has ever played football before, awful hands, no separation, looks lost, etc. Looking across the league at other rookies, Samuels, Brown, Brown, Metcalf all have upside. Not seeing it at this stage, huge whiff at...

    The TOM BRADY appreciation thread

Thanks for listening Tommy! Suck it Peyton!

    The TOM BRADY appreciation thread

What a ride! Last ask, please just get one more TD to pull ahead of Manning. Thank you for everything.

    N'Keal Harry's Production

To me this is most alarming, he was the 2nd WR taken in a very deep draft. Other than being big he has shown zero other attributes, no burst, no top end speed, no separation, no hands. Looking like a huge whiff.

As much as I absolutely hate to say it, Brady has not been playing well this year.

Not just Brady, the whole offensive is not at its usual standard. Should be fun to see how a different style of football fairs in the playoffs. I can't wait until he strings a few good games together and passes Manning for most TDs. NFL Passing Touchdowns Career Leaders | Pro-Football-Reference.com

Should the Pats have drafted DK Metcalf instead of N'Keal Harry?

Hopefully Harry can on the field, what I like about Metcalf is he can beat man coverage. Other than Edelman this is a deficiency for the Pats WR.

POLL: Is Sanu worth a 2nd rounder ?

good one! I did laugh out loud that an ex-patriot fumbled in such a brutal fashion. I was watching the game with a bunch of folks from all over the US and they just rolled their eyes. More Patriots magic!

Prediction: Bennett comes back and plays increasingly well for us.

Hopefully he becomes a useful piece in a rotation and makes it through a 16 game season with a chance to make a few plays during a playoff run. Like all of us he can find happiness outside of work.

    Hightower?

Sorry, I was travelling and missed the game. I had heard some noise that Hightower was injured or banged up. Any insight is appreciated. Thanks

In for a penny , in for a pound.. Trent Williams anyone?

He used to be a very good player, not sure what he has left but what the hell? Trent Williams, at what price? 1st, 2nd Plus he has a 9.5 mil salary. I would do it for a 2nd, never ever thought I would be getting greedy and shooting for a 7th Lombardi.

    Fantastic night for Phillip Dorsett

They used him beautifully. When he came out of college I thought he would be such an interesting chess piece, maybe like a DeSean Jackson. As it turns out DJ is quite unique, not many people of his size can play on the outside and outrun coverages. Dorsett is not strong enough to play outside...

    Is Hightower a Hof?

Not the pro football hall of fame but maybe the Pats HOF. I love me some High, up there with the most clutch Pats defenders. High Life!!!

Mahomes sprained ankle according to Chiefs Board

I hope not, dude is awesome. Great player.

    Ryan Allen-Alive and Kicking?

This is the moment I hijack the thread and totally move in a different direction... On Ryan, always thought he did a pretty good job, and performed well with his assignments (don’t out kick the coverage, etc.) but if they have found someone better so be it. Thinking of punters made me wonder...

N’Keal Harry being put on IR

He lasted three ****ing plays.. unbelievable.

Players that you have been wrong about

I could probably go on for days and will try to add some more as I sober up.. James White- didn’t understand the pick, too small , too slow. First couple of years was “meh”, but boy once he got cooking, look out. Pretty much an all time Patriot now. I nailed that one... right again.

Interesting cuts and transactions throughout the league

Would we welcome Dwayne Allen back? Read that he may be cut. Personally I thought he was totally useless but he did play quite a bit in two TE sets.
