Patriots Pregame Thread Week 13 MNF: Giants @ Pats

Revive the old Boston Patriots tradition and have the PA call out Andrews from the stands to suit up and play one last time.

    NFL News General NFL News/Discussion

Anything can happen in a game. ANYTHING. Key player(s) suddenly injured & out disrupting entire game plan. Wild stuff like helmet catches. Questionable, game changing calls, etc. Opposing QB having a below par day, pick 6, intentional grounding. Gotta be there to catch lightning in a bottle...

Whatever you do do not contradict Kyles. He'll block you. And he is WRONG here, again.

Content Post Idle thoughts: the "one-step back" edition

Game was long because of numerous Injury time outs on both teams

    Running game/short yardage futility

Then try a roll out to the right away from weakness at least once. Dumbfounded at the OC calls. And I like Josh but this was a D game for him.

    Pop Douglas Thoughts

I do not THINK Pop has serious upside so I'd only resign him with a modest offer. Remember how BB (unwisely) let The Squirrel go get an offer (Jete) on his own? Coulda been a devastating blow to TFB's 2nd SB ring run were he to have left. I always thought that Edelperson had mucho upside unlike Pop.

How realistic is a Super Bowl appearance this season?

This is why the One Seed is SO important. Basic math probabilities go much higher when you have in effect one effortless WIN because of the 1st playoff week bye. The numeric probability of losing in a one loss & you're out system decreases multiplying only 2 probabilities of loss vs 3. And yes...

NFL GAME DAY DISCUSSION Game Day Thread [Was: Who to root for, NFL Week 11: Chefs at Donkeys, with poll; TV maps]

Yup, losing to the reanimated corpse, Rogers, really hurt. It was an epic clown car blizzard of fumblae. (LAT: Fumbles)

NFL GAME DAY DISCUSSION Game Day Thread [Was: Who to root for, NFL Week 11: Chefs at Donkeys, with poll; TV maps]

Cannot root for Kermit as youngest granddaughter would disown me. Plus it delivers a STFU to Mahomes bois who have been bleating this entire decade that he's better than Brady (PBUH). No playoffs for YOU, KC. Emotion speaking, not logic. Rooting for Tampah to bring their A game against the...

Cool Link VIDEO: Will Campbell vs Michael Clemons

Content Post Idle thoughts: the "movin' on" edition

Good point about intense game TIMELY pass rush. I am at the stage of Show Me but hopeful. (Hope is OK for us fan boys) Agree with occasional Maye to the Left plays. Opens up more of the field for us & makes enemy defend more square yards. Tom vs Maye: Tom always threw a hard fastball downfield...

Today In Patriots History Nov 13, 1994: Bledsoe sets NFL records for passes (70), completions (45) in 20-point comeback win

Great game. Bledsoe ruled. But I missed it x/c skiing at 8500 feet in Colorado. Made the mistake of playing in a full court pickup hoops game with youngers at 6500 feet later that day.

[NEM APPROVED THREAD] Is Josh McDaniels the GOCOAT?

Ah, NEM. Back when I was younger (yet still older then than most posters here) and more stupider than now I used to waste bandwidth (an archaic expression) wrestling with pigs. He and I usually had polar opposite opinions on nearly everything. He did not like me.

    Time to repent

I thought 8-9 wins for the season. I do consider myself as a Pats homo homer. I did think the Jete & Phins would really suck Thought Kermit's team would be leading their division. Can yet happen, but still...
