Edit: Now it is being reported as a high ankle sprain. I still say we do nothing more than the above. Amendola is four weeks out and is a situational player.

Don't add anyone. Play DJ Forster and White more and some at PK/R and WR. It's an ankle and it didn't look like a high sprain.

Nothing on Forster so far, but Ryan Wendell signed with Carolina.

Forster will wind up in Seattle or Green Bay. Too bad, I think he's a good player to have on your roster.

Against average offenses and okay QBs. We have a problem with the Defense, it'll get unmasked in the playoffs. We need to improve, especially so we can start scheming to create pressure.

Flowers and Valentine both have high ceilings and need time to develop. Butler and McCourty are nearly there. Hightower is on an island now (at least for the remainder of the season), he'll need to take over the defense as Mayo once did. We need to replace the "core" players who didn't work out...

I don't agree it can't be fixed this year. Losing Branch will give Valentine and Brown the ability and playing time to start to step up (for example). We can get much better, still not as good as we thought in preseason but better. The thing is we have very little depth and must remain healthy...

I look at it as less of a talent problem and more a leadership and experience thing. Oh, and players not in sync with the philosophy (and need to go). The cure is some additional talent in the core but mostly time ...... it's not easy to be patient.

Something isn't gelling with the Defense. Where was Rowe, was Long benched in the second half? I'm confused, we looked lousy on D.

I thought we got too much for Derby, this injury may have caused Denver to overpay. I know think Denver called us.

There are ZERO possibilities that Derby would've gotten past the Jet's if cut. It's pick your poison, I'll take the poison with the 5th round pick to a declining team. We have at least two players coming off the PUP soon.

We need a solid star OLman, at least one guy who can live on an Island and allow us to scheme the rest. Logan Ryan and Garappolo would seem to be our only chips. We need Garappolo for four games during which he has to show value. I wouldn't support the use of a draft pick .... at least right...
