PostGame Thread 2024 OFFICIAL Postgame Thread: Patriots fall 28-22 to the Rams

I still put most of it on the line. When he gets good blocking and isn't trying to shake a tackle in the backfield he gets positive yards. Rham is NOT why this team is near the bottom of the league. I dont get why people have this "replace everyone" as their only solution.

PostGame Thread 2024 OFFICIAL Postgame Thread: Patriots fall 28-22 to the Rams

Because he's a rotational guy being forced into a heavy snap count. That's basically the entire DL except White (and Barmore once he is back in game shape) frankly. Godchaux is a depth guy and so is Wise. And Barmore is the only four tool guy on the list that's plus at both the run and rushing...

I'll take TJ Watt commercials over Forehead every Sunday. The ****'s holiday one is pretty dang clever.

PostGame Thread 2024 OFFICIAL POSTGAME THREAD: Patriots beat the Bears 19-3 to improve to 3-7

This isn't a playoff team. It's a rebuilding team. That can be derived from the significant drop in number and frequency of posters alone. For most folks there's no "trap" because the Patriots weren't going to beat good teams unless it was a "no f'n way" type day (a couple fluke plays in the...

PostGame Thread 2024 OFFICIAL POSTGAME THREAD: Patriots beat the Bears 19-3 to improve to 3-7

His significant improvement in the fundamentals from even camp is evident. What cannot be determined and only claimed is whether his so far high level decision making is a product of his being able to practice and observe rather than take the hits, etc from day one or if it was there all...

PostGame Thread 2024 OFFICIAL POSTGAME THREAD: Patriots beat the Bears 19-3 to improve to 3-7

The Bears are on their THIRD in less than a decade. Context matters right? It does appear that Maye is full of potential that matches brain with athletic ability which is the rarity. Not going to declare the definitive of future success, but I'd rather the hope than the despair in regards to...

Game Day Thread 2024 OFFICIAL WEEK 10 GAME THREAD: NE @ CHI

Have we had any series this year without multiple "beaten off the snap" plays by our OL? I know there are multiple other problems and there's no "star" WR, but simply eliminating that trend would have massive impacts across the entire way the offense functions.

PostGame Thread OFFICIAL Postgame Thread: Patriots come up short in Tennessee 20-17 (OT)

I think on Maye's fundamentals they've done a good job - he has seemingly corrected a lot of what were mechanical issues coming out of college. That said, technically in play design and play calling - horrid. Predictable and simplistic without adjustments to take advantage of what the defense...

PostGame Thread OFFICIAL Postgame Thread: Patriots come up short in Tennessee 20-17 (OT)

Team game. Decent OL and those three are positive contributors. Upgrades in other areas have MUCH more impact to this team's ability to compete in and win games than RB. More "superstar at every position is only way to win" thinking.

PostGame Thread OFFICIAL Postgame Thread: Patriots come up short in Tennessee 20-17 (OT)

I'll just keep repeating myself. It's a team game. When individual players no longer have teammates beside them of the caliber of last year (Barmore, Bentley and even Guy as prime examples) he's the one getting schemed against and focused on. The fact that he's playing to the level is he is...

He is all in on WRs solve everything in the NFL. Wanted Harrison over a QB this draft.

PostGame Thread OFFICIAL POST GAME THREAD: Patriots beat the JETE 25-22

Also want to see him in the guardian cap from now on. Don't care how it looks - if the reduction in concussions is even just a few percentage points - worth it for both the multi-million dollar investment and more importantly the young kid's total future.

PostGame Thread OFFICIAL POST GAME THREAD: Patriots beat the JETE 25-22

Bad match up for him - true. That said, where was the defensive adjustments? The Jete ran the exact same play, out of the same look, literally twice in a row to big success. No over the top help or even changing coverage type on those consecutive plays? I get that the talent disparity is...
