I suspect that 12 positions are truly up for grabs.

Fan Connection Desperate Plea: anyone watching the game in Yangon, Myanmar?

Unfortunately, Myanmar is about the only country in Asia where the internet is too slow aside from East Timor. I go to places like Laos and Cambodia a lot during the season and I never have any problems.

Fan Connection Desperate Plea: anyone watching the game in Yangon, Myanmar?

As nice as it is at times there is no place I'd rather be than in a bar surrounded by Patriots fans. Got a chance to do that in Portland, OR last week and it was great. Check out Yur's if you are in town on gameday.

Fan Connection Desperate Plea: anyone watching the game in Yangon, Myanmar?

I asked my friend in the Singapore embassy if he could get me in through his friends in Yangon but the security at the embassy in Yangon does not allow it at that time of day.

Fan Connection Desperate Plea: anyone watching the game in Yangon, Myanmar?

It was actually easier to watch NFL games way back in 2001/2002 when they were all on ESPN Asia. I watched the Raiders game in Nan, Thailand, the Steelers in Mae Hong Sohn up near Chiang Mai (and was forced to get a 7-11 employee to close the shop at 4:30am to take me back to my hotel on...

Fan Connection Desperate Plea: anyone watching the game in Yangon, Myanmar?

If in fact I can't watch it live I'll watch it at 50th Street Bar on Monday night.

Fan Connection Desperate Plea: anyone watching the game in Yangon, Myanmar?

The game is on at the embassy but they won't let me watch at that time. Watched the superbowl last year in the Singapore embassy. The game is on TV here, on American Sports Network. the problem is only sports bars and private homes get it and sports bars are not open late Sunday/early Monday.

Fan Connection Desperate Plea: anyone watching the game in Yangon, Myanmar?

I've checked all of the Sports Bars, my hotel does not have a fast enough Wifi connection to watch online. Is there anyone on the forum that is in Yangon and will be watching live tonight? Any tips/help appreciated. On the plus side, the last time I was in Yangon during a Patriots playoff...

    Unmatched level of success

The stat that explains the dominance best: Since 2001, the Patriots have never played in a meaningless game. They've always been competing for a championship up until the final game of the season or the playoffs, even in the years where they did not make the playoffs.

NFL's mouthpiece (ESPN) at it again with OTL piece on cameragate

The NFL is likely going to be standing with the Patriots fighting this. Goodell's legacy is completely destroyed if the public believes three superbowls were tainted and he covered it up.

Why "it was repealed on procedure" is BS

One of the problems with the process not facts argument is that the entire Wells Report was a series of judgements based on shaky circumstantial evidence. We haven't seen the totality of the evidence available, which could in fact lead objective observers (even those who now doubt the Patriots)...

Another Pro-Brady Factor for Berman to consider: stopping the arbitration lawsuits

There's a lot of discussion from well-respected lawyers about the sanctity of the CBA and how judges should be reluctant to interfere, even going to so far as to support the NFL's argument that the arbitrator is not only assess the facts but assess the fairness of the entire process (e.g. Pash's...

Transcript for August 12th hearing now available

The phone destruction issue really demonstrates just how much of snake Goodell and company are. Wells testifies that they originally asked for texts between Brady and 3 people. Although his phone was destroyed and he refused hand over the phone earlier, Wells never requested it. Instead...

Poll: What is the NFL Thinking?

I say they know they've lost this round and are doubling down on the appeal to the Circuit Court.

Judge Berman continues to encouragement-Next meeting Aug 31st

I agree that the NFL will want to settle before the season begins but their current stubborn position may be due to an attempt to see how the case is weighing on Brady so that they can extract more out of him. I think Brady has already revealed his final position if the reports on a 1-game no...

CORRECTION: brady willing to accept 1 game for failure to cooperate is UNTRUE

I think the NFL would take a 1-game suspension at this point if it included acceptance of the Wells Report. That acceptance is critical for them as it validates the process.

CORRECTION: brady willing to accept 1 game for failure to cooperate is UNTRUE

It's designed to support the argument if they lose in court: "Brady's guilty even if he gets off on a technicality due to process issues. He was willing to be suspended."

CORRECTION: brady willing to accept 1 game for failure to cooperate is UNTRUE

I think for the NFL not getting Brady to admit guilt with 1 game for non-coop is almost as damaging as no suspension and so the risk of them accepting the deal are low. At this point, they might even be convincing themselves that even if Berman is telling them they will lose that they have a...

Does ANYONE know who Mike Gasior is???

I think it's a calculated leak by the Brady team designed to show Berman they are willing to compromise but knowing that the NFL will never accept it. Based on Berman's questions last week, I think he thinks the only thing the NFL can get at this point out of this is non-cooperation. He views...

Heath Evan rips NFL, NFLN, ESPN & Fox

While he'll never be 100% free, long doses of time and a media which moves on will have a way of softening impact for the vast majority. Once this is over, the media will go back to talking about Brady as a football player, with less and less mention of the controversy and the general public...

PATRIOTS NEWS Official Brady vs. NFL Federal Court 8/12 Thread (LIVE UPDATES)

I think it's critical to his desire for a settlement to understand Brady's view of his own innocence. If he feels the evidence is shaky or does not exist it will make Brady's position more reasonable.
