    2007 draft

Not quite the 2000 NBA Draft, but yeah, it wasn't good.

Cowboys '10 draft board shown in video

Wouldn't be the first time. I remember a whiteboard photo like this leaked two years ago - it had the CBs ranked, like Rodgers-Cromartie, etc.

    Michael Smith: Pats wanted Hardesty

Re: Michael Smith:Pats Wanted Hardesty You're bothered by the fact that they didn't take a "RB" who is going to play WR for the Chiefs?

John Henderson and Clint Ingram released

None of whom would be a viable starter at RDE. Henderson can be.

John Henderson and Clint Ingram released

Ingram was tendered an RFA offer and had it withdrawn today, making him an unrestricted free agent. He can re-sign with the Jags if both sides so desired.

John Henderson and Clint Ingram released

Wouldn't mind seeing Henderson signed. Could be a Ngata-type 3-4 DE: 6'7", 335 lbs. Gets a few sacks every year and also is known for batting down passes. If the Pats think he can play a 3-technique and still be effective, then I wouldn't be surprised if they get into a bidding war for him. He's...

    First shot at the 53

I had Richard on my original roster and I still counted him, I don't know why I removed his name. As far as ILB goes, Guyton is best suited as a sub LB and he'll get plenty of reps there, but starters are the guys out there on first down, first series, and I think Spikes or McKenzie will be...

Whatever happened to the 3 Navy players that were on the reserve list??

Yes, the Pats still have their rights. Their contracts toll when they are on reserve lists like this, so they will still be under contract whenever they are reinstated.

    First shot at the 53

I included Richard on my first list but then cut him but forgot to change the count, which means I probably only have 52 total.

    First shot at the 53

I project Bryan Anderson to be the 14th wide receiver on the depth chart. Tell me who is ahead of him.

Guess the Derrick Burgess era is over...

There's certainly a learning curve, but the question is how high is the peak of that curve for Burgess. I just don't know how much he has left to bring to the table even if he reaches the top of that curve.

Guess the Derrick Burgess era is over...

A guy named Bill Belichick during an interview/press conference. ;) He said they'd "take a look" at Burgess in the next week, which I think was a week or two ago.

Guess the Derrick Burgess era is over...

The Warren and Lewis signings have nothing to do with Burgess. They are both 3-4 DEs. Burgess is a 3-4 OLB. If anything the Cunningham drafting means Burgess is gone, although they would have drafted someone even if he was still here.

Whatever happened to the 3 Navy players that were on the reserve list??

I would assume they are still in the military; I think they require at least two years in order to get the reimbursed tuition and other benefits. As a point of comparison, Caleb Campbell was selected by the Lions in 2008 and just finished his commitment this spring. Kyle Eckel only was on the...

    First shot at the 53

Sanders is the only leader this secondary has. He reportedly has taken Meriweather and the other younger players under his wing. They speak very highly of him.

Who would you give up? Weren't the McCourty (and Butler) selections AND the re-signing of Bodden an indictment of Wheatley? If he couldn't get on the field last year when Bodden was out, then I don't see how he does with McCourty in the mix.
