OT: Jason Garrett offered Ravens' HC job/bringing Cameron/Capers with him?

I dunno...I mean, Jones is seemingly obsessed with Garrett. I wouldn't even be surprised if the early playoff exit leads him to rashly fire Phillips to keep Garrett if need be.

Of course, Patrick Willis wins Defensive Rookie Award

I would disagree, I think there are many potential positives in the team. Hopefully, with a competent OC, we might see them. But Gore, Davis, Joe Staley, Manny Lawson, Patrick Willis, Clements...there are some very good players.

Win or lose if T.O. is 1 for 14 yards tomorrow - you are going to want to mute the TV

Re: Win or lose if T.O. is 1 for 14 yards tomorrow - you are going to want to mute th Tim Brown, Steve Largent, Cris Carter, James Lofton.... And remember; though it's likely to happen, Moss doesn't have a ring yet either.

Win or lose if T.O. is 1 for 14 yards tomorrow - you are going to want to mute the TV

Re: Win or lose if T.O. is 1 for 14 yards tomorrow - you are going to want to mute th Once again....Randall Cunningham a poor QB!?! Also, I don't think you can overlook the effect Owens may in fact have had on Garcia, as well as the other way around. Why mention all of the terrible QBs Moss...

Win or lose if T.O. is 1 for 14 yards tomorrow - you are going to want to mute the TV

Re: Win or lose if T.O. is 1 for 14 yards tomorrow - you are going to want to mute th T.O. has had a problem with drops in his career, yes. But to say that he's done nothing in his career? Sorry, but as a 49er fan that just doesn't fly. The catch against the Packers? The record setting...

Re: Win or lose if T.O. is 1 for 14 yards tomorrow - you are going to want to mute th Se he doesn't do anything remotely like you said he would, yet he still did in your mind because it's what you think he secretly feels? Wow...I don't know how one can argue with that. Maybe listen to what...

Re: Win or lose if T.O. is 1 for 14 yards tomorrow - you are going to want to mute th So.... T.O. came out and blasted his teammates like the selfish jerk he is, right? Right?

Win or lose if T.O. is 1 for 14 yards tomorrow - you are going to want to mute the TV

Re: Win or lose if T.O. is 1 for 14 yards tomorrow - you are going to want to mute th Eagles fans were saying the exact same things about T.O. at one time, if you'll remember. I'm not saying Moss's tenure will end badly by any means, but T.O. hasn't done much wrong (and has done a whole lot...

Is Randy Moss the best receiver ever?

Any thread that refers to Randall Cunningham as a "crappy" QB is ridiculous. As well as the fact that Dante Culpepper was quite the decent QB if your memory extends beyond a couple of seasons.

    Tom Brady is just Amazing

100% agreed.... Only pointed out the QB rating as the original poster stated that it was the highest QB rating in a playoff game, rather than the highest completion percentage.

    Tom Brady is just Amazing

Tom Brady was phenomenal tonight. As a 49ers fan, I'm obviously not gonna consider him the greatest QB ever (at least not until he gets 5 rings, anyway), but he's the clear #2 for me. On a side note, however....his 141.4 rating is not actually technically the highest in playoff history...

Why Moss Is More Impressive Than Jerry Rice

6 more years? I recognise Moss won't go catchless in Week 17, but if the season ended today he would need to average 130 catches, 13 TDs and 1808 yards to catch Rice's reception, receiving TD or receiving yardage marks. Might need to keep it going a bit more than 6 years, I think...

    Michael Smith is an idiot

"Adverse" circumstances you needlessly create yourself should perhaps not be factored into deciding how well a job a coach has done...

Why Moss Is More Impressive Than Jerry Rice

Why was 17 TDs arbitrarily chosen as the standard here? Rice "only" had 2 17+ TD year....but how about 13 TD years? In his first 11 seasons in the league, he had 8 13 TD years to Moss's 5. Why can't 13 be the number? Rice was simply a better receiver who had a better career. Both are...

Red Sox, Twins Discussing Deal for Santana

Ellsbury for Santana straight up would be too much, from a purely emotional standpoint. There's no way it should be done; Pedroia and Ellsbury should be leading the team for the next 15 odd years, and could/should provide the spine of the side once Manny, Ortiz, Lowell, etc. are of retirement...

One of the worst trades of all-time

Randy Moss on the 49ers? It would have been just as bad as Randy Moss on the Raiders. He would have had the exact same media on his back every week. A major factor in his resurgence is getting AWAY from the Bay Area. The 49ers passing on Moss may not have been the best idea, but it was hardly...

Who has been the 2 biggest surprise teams (1 positive and 1 negative)

Negative? Norval. He ####### both us and the Chargers up....there's no reason we shouldn't have made progress with an improved roster, but Mike Nolan was just too ******* stubborn to hire an offensive coach all season. Positive? I'll go Cleveland.

Should Moss start whining to refs?

Moss came to the Pats WAY after Polian's complaints. Keep the paranoia in check, guys...

Should Moss start whining to refs?

If Marvin Harrison or Torry Holt whine to a ref, maybe they get more calls. Moss or TO whining to refs can NEVER be considered a good idea.

I Knew We not "Best Ever," go ahead hate me

The Pats are well on their way to quite possibly the greatest season ever. If they run it to 19-0, I'd say they might well make it a consensus. But they don't merit consideration yet. If they go 18-1 with a loss in the Super Bowl, then they wouldn't be in the conversation. A lot of things can...
