I dunno about "media hype creation"; VERY few QBs in history have put up postseason numbers like Montana and Brady. Sure, in his 5 Super Bowls, John Elway posted ratings of 83.6, 36.8, 19.4, 51.9 and then finally a decent 99.2 in his final game.

I don't think Elisha is anything other than a likable QB.

Manning is the Elway or Marino to Brady's Montana; there's no question that Brady is better and performs at a much higher level under pressure (just like Montana), but there's also no question that Manning (like Elway and Marino) is a great QB.
