He was a healthy scratch for most of the year, then made that great play in the Super Bowl and reminded everyone he was still around. Good depth, but surprising they signed him after an overall disappointing year. However, Gerald McCoy would be a nice add.:p

Most of the highlights from his stint on the Browns that were circulated around here were more like “lowlights”. One in particular where a pulling QB blocked him entirely out of a play.

With that fat Russell Wilson contract, it’s no surprise that the axe is swinging.

Even if the Pats lost all of their SBs, which would cast a huge cloud of doubt over their legacy, 9 Super Bowl appearances would have been an amazing accomplishment.

Most of the Super Bowls the pats won were by a miracle catch/Int or a game winning field goal. Winning 6 out of 9 SBs is pretty amazing considering they could just as easily be 3 wins out of 9 appearances - or worse. We should count our blessings!

Would be better if it was Kyle Rudolph walking through that door, but if Watson can make it out of training camp and manage 35 or so catches in the regular season, that would be a solid.

He’ll get 350 all purpose yards due to a combination of injuries and spot duty. He might even start chipping away at goal line touches and short yardage 3rd downs. He looks great in those situations, not only hits the hole with authority, but catches well and is solid in pass protection.
