I’d put Swinney over Franklin every day. Franklin just couldn’t beat good teams. Swinney may have had a few tough years but at least he has a pair of nattys.

It’s funny, Bill could figure out how defend the most complex offences the game has ever produced, he could manage dozens of men from different backgrounds to one collective force, but he couldn’t see coming what all of us could see with Bunny. It’s really unbelievable.

IMO Late Period Bill clearly was distracted.

Some interesting points on the timeline: Bill meets Jordon in early 2021. Josh leaves in early 2022. Bill dithers and eventually appoints MP and JG to run the offense in training camp that summer. January 2023 is when Bill and Jordon are first spotted together in public, in New Orleans. Summer 2023 is when the doorbell camera caught half-naked Bill leaving Jordon's Airbnb. Bill 'parted ways' with the Patriots in early 2024.

Everyone's free to put together the story any way they want, but to me this is the prototypical Samson and Delilah situation. Bill was focused more on a hot piece of ass (err, his "muse") than on football. It's enough to distract anyone.

She metaphorically cut off his hair, and he hasn't been the same since. Just look at the clown show UNC has become. As a song lyric goes, all a friend can say is ain't it a shame.

I think the fact that Jeff Fisher - uh I mean Bill Belichick - lost Tom Brady might have a wee bit more to do with it than whom he was dating.
